Website and technical information

Technology and security providers may generate or process IP address, device and browser information, page activity and analytics information, landing page, referrer, UTM campaign, medium and keyword values, gclid where present, and bot-prevention or security information.

Finance-referral information

If you request finance assistance or authorise a referral, CORUM may collect and share only information provided for that purpose. The general website enquiry form is not intended for full finance applications, identity documents or bank details.

CORUM may also communicate with equipment, parts or technical suppliers outside Australia, including recipients in China, where reasonably necessary for purposes such as equipment sourcing, specifications, configuration confirmation, attachments and parts, compatibility and fitment, technical assistance, warranty coordination or supply arrangements. This may include communication with a related family equipment business in China where relevant to those purposes.

CORUM seeks to limit identifiable customer information shared with overseas recipients to what is reasonably necessary for the requested equipment, part, attachment, technical-support or supply arrangement. Where reasonably practicable and appropriate, CORUM will inform you or seek your authority before identifiable customer information is provided to an overseas supplier for a specific sourcing, technical-support or supply purpose.

Overseas recipients may not be subject to privacy laws equivalent to those that apply in Australia. This section does not create an unrestricted right to transfer personal information overseas.

7. Cookies, Analytics and Security Technologies

CORUM uses service providers to host, secure, operate and understand use of the website. These currently include Webflow, CORUM OS hosted using Vercel, Google Analytics and Cloudflare Turnstile. Other content-delivery, font and website-functionality providers may also process limited technical information necessary to provide their services.

These providers may use cookies, identifiers or comparable technologies where relevant to their services. Not every provider receives every category of information.

Website enquiries are transmitted to CORUM OS, hosted using Vercel, for lead and enquiry management.

You may be able to restrict cookies through your browser settings. Restricting some technologies may affect website functionality.

8. Direct Marketing

CORUM may send commercial electronic messages where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law. Messages will identify CORUM, include appropriate contact information and provide a way to unsubscribe where required. Personal information may be held in website, email, business and lead-management systems. Enquiry submissions from the website are sent to CORUM OS hosted using Vercel.

CORUM uses reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to its operations. No internet transmission or electronic storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

CORUM retains personal information only for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, related business and dispute-management needs, and applicable accounting, tax, warranty and legal obligations. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and transaction.

When information is no longer reasonably required, CORUM may delete, anonymise or securely archive it, subject to applicable requirements.
